Description
It is a « chamotté » sandstone which I created myself at a technical meeting of "raku".
The technical of the "raku" is a process of cooking. The incandescent parts are smoked out, soaked in water, burned and left with the free air. They undergo an considerable thermal shock.
This ashtray was created a few years ago and time marked!!!!
Il s’agit d’un cendrier en grès chamotté que j'ai créé moi-même lors d'une séance de "raku".
La technique du « raku »est un procédé de cuisson. Les pièces incandescentes sont enfumées, trempées dans l'eau, brûlées et laissées à l'air libre. Elles subissent un choc thermique important.
Ce cendrier a été créé il y a quelques années et le temps l'a marqué!!!!
