I'm a writer more than a visual artist, and images like this always inspire me in unusual ways! The colors here are soft and gorgeous, the starkness of the image itself recalls a complex emotion, often expressed in Japanese, but there is no English language equivalent to what this emotion expresses. This image expresses it though, wordlessly and beautifully, and it's most definitely one of my favorite images.
