Description

This is my first Bryce 5 image (just upgraded from 4), and my first upload here. This image was inspired by Svebor Sinka's (a.k.a. Svar00g) awesome Derelict spaceship material, 'USS derelict'. Superb work, Svebor, and thanks! Extensive use has been made of Svebor's material (with some modification on my part) in this scene. I have also used Shane Jones's 'Wraith' model for the small ship in the foreground - thanks, Shane. You can download svebor's material and Shanes's Wraith from www.renderosity.com too. This image isn't really finished yet - lots more detail to put in, but who knows when I'll get around to it. Created with Bryce 5 with post-pro in PS6. Hope you like the piccy. Steve

Thanks, guys for your kind comments. I did a lot of test renderings from different angles and heights (not to mention playing about with the texture scaling and haze) to try and get the feeling of 'bigness', so it's nice to know you got that from the image.
