Hi! If you have the slightest artistic leanings (and naturally, an interest in the digital medium) then you gotta love renderosity!BIOAbout me... hmmm, well, Art is a hobby for me (I'm an IT Consultant in the day job, and running your own business takes a LOT of time) though I'd like to spend much more time on art than I can at present. I am English, and I live in South East London. I'm Fiftymuttermumble*cough* years old outside, 24 inside. My passions in art terms are light and scale, really. Work In Progress that seems to be Progress-ing nicely! Cool picture!

Nicely Done :-) Has the feel of a ship landing, like the smoke off the tarmac, nice touch that!

The ground and buildings are brilliant. You need to do a bit of work on the jet thrusters, though. Maybe use elongated cones instead of cylinders, and / or use a longer fade.

Thanks for the comments guys. RonGC, that bleedin' smoke was what got me going on this image in the first place - having made the smoke I then needed a reason for it :] tuttle, thanks for your remarks. I tried a cone but it just didn't look right - I now realise that I actually need 3-4 concentric cylinders, each a little longer than the first to make it work properly, but at 17hrs per render, I might give it a shot, but don't hold your breath...

Oh, I should add that some of the buildings are mine but some are downloads. The Hangars are from Baument, I can't remember where the other bits came from.
