Description

I have been travelling all over the world recently (again) and am back home for just a few days before heading off again and so I headed down to my parents home and revisited my childhood playgrounds. This was one of them - Bosham Harbour is Sussex - I remember this boat being hauled up here when I was about 14 years old. I was amazed to see it still there and saddened by the state it had become. I promise I will never be beached like her :) TFV

Interesting how its been sitting there for as long as its been. (Few years anyway.. since you were 14? :) ) You are lucky to be traveling the world like you are. A photographer could go nuts with all the things to shoot. Enjoy, have fun and be safe!

Interesting what our memories bring to us... to anyone else this is something to pass by, unremarked. But your personal history, attention and thought wipe out the ordinariness and your photo brings it forward to us. That is the amazing thing about photography and the eye and choice of the photographer. Some images of beauty and interest are easy to see by all, and some are not but by being chosen to be recorded are forever gifted to the viewers as worthy of viewing and/or thought. IMHO =)

That's a great composition, although it looks a little overexposed to my eyes. Throw in a dark grad to add a little interest to the sky and you've got an absolute winner. Good work :)

Wonderful capture - I love the way the boat has taken on the colors of the surrounding landscape.
