Description

Big Black Triangle returns again, this time over the airfield used for program related support operations. As you can see in relation to the jumbo jets, they aren't kidding about the "big" aspect of it's description. So how does one build something too big to fit in a typical hangar? Rather it's more of an excavation operation. It's built like a shallow bunker from the outside in, then once the reactors (or gas turbine plants) and other systems check for pre-flight, the earth above it is dug out. The initial takeoff and gravitic field (a.k.a. nullfield or scalar membrane depending on which literature you like - regardless all variations of revised complex set photoelectric theory) does the rest to brush off the dirt. Servicing in the field is similar, excavate a large divot and bury the ship over. Servicing can be done in almost plain sight, afterall it looks like just another "research bunker" right? Just something to test out a concept I'm visualizing. May have to come back to this one and do a better render sometime.

When I wanted to do something like this I began with a rebar mesh but later accepted the inflatable cable constrained form. There is news.

Yep, they are more than a myth. I saw one on the highway between Vegas and Pahrump two years ago. Your rendering well aproximates the size of the ship I saw. Great render!
