Description

Good Evening to you all! Here another pic of the abbey and monastery Chorin in the northern parts of Brandenburg, Germany. Historians call this style "Backstein - Gotik", which means translated "brickstone gothic". In northern germany are natural stones very rare so that the zistercienser monks had to use brickstones to build this cathedral and the surrounding buildings. This was often practised in northern Germany and other parts of northern Middle Europe. This cathedral is one of the largest. The cathedral is a ruin and not completely closed at all sides. It is a very fine place for concerts during the summer. Pic was taken at 29th december 2007. I hope you enjoy it. Very nice! I like the way you've got the path leading into the shot, if anything I would be tempted to do something with the over exposed sky like a dark grad or something, but that's just a minor thing. Overall It's a good shot and I like it! :)
