Description
turned 50 today.... not so much of a milestone unless you take into account that getting this far hasn't been easy. Over the years, I done and experienced a lot, worn uniforms, dreamt big, hoped for the best, sometimes experienced the worst. when I was younger (boy, that seemed way too long ago), imagined herioc things, adventure, discovery.... and I lived as best I could. regrets... I've had a few. Sometimes, I think my life could be best described in a country and western song.... and not the funtime, drinking and getting rowdy type either.
but what can I say... I've survived this long... let's see what the next 50 have in store for me... can't wait to find out. ;-)

50? I always thought of you as a kid - I'm 56 (Ugh!) Country Western song? Hmmmm, "Listen to the jingle, the rumble and the roar, as old 1358's gray head rolls right across the floor.... He's had too much to drink, you see, and not used to it the lad, has laid down for a nap on the railroad track in front of the Wallbash Canonball......" You probably don't know that old song. Happy 50th. My wife turns fifty next week. Have a big party planned. She did one for me when I turned 50, four years ago. Simply returning the favor. For me, turning thirty was panic time. I had not looked at my age then since I was twenty one and was stunned how fast the next nine years flew by with me not even getting close to what I was going to be for the rest rest of my life. Subsequently I went to college and earned a degree. I would be 35 upon graduating but stuck with it, working full time, having three of my four children and going to school full time. I figured I would be 35 even if I didn't graduate and then I would really be pissed. Turning 50 was uneventful. Next milestone, 65.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! Just think, you're a half century old now. LOL. (A friend said that to me when I turned 50 and I thought of socking her in the eye. LOL!!!!) I hope your birthday is as special as your many talents! Celebrate yourself and all that you are!
