Description

I took this just a couple days before our snowstorm. Note that I have blurred the faces and the city name for privacy purposes. This house is right across the street from my previous post "Why Me'. It has been empty and partially boarded up since last summer. The dealers haven't broken the front windows because they are too visible to the neighbors. They go to a back window or door to get in. They don't usually send prisoner transport unless a crime has been committed. I overheard part of the conversation, they asked this guy where 'it' was and he told them a different street, but they still spent a lot of time searching the surrounding area, I assume for a weapon as they did not have the dogs with them. I have seen the prisoner standing on the corners hawking his wares nearly every day. He is about 15 years old, such a shame that our youth try so hard to ruin their lives and other's lives too... Thanks for looking and for previous comments.

hopefully that "youth" realizes his mistake and will learn from it. It is a shame though. I'll teach my children to just avoid such lessons.. Great shot as usual!! :) -chachi

What a shame that such a beautiful looking house has to be empty and take the crap for being a drug house. I bet at one time the house had a nice family living there.

Oh Dear... Paddy Wagon! In spite of the misfortunate story, I do admire your lighting and such wonderful clarity! A sharp, crisp and beautifully detailed composition!

I totally agree with you Tim...very difficult today to instill hope, especially in the young, but we keep on trying anyway...if only one listens thats a good thing, like planting a seed in hopes that it grows!
