Description

Looking back at Weisendanger from downstream. The trail is visible in the lower right. This is a different POV from the the two previous uploads of this waterfall, but I wanted to show the gorge this little stream has carved in the solid basalt over the years. This crop makes the waterfall look small, but remember, it's 55 ft tall, and probably near maximum flow right now. Now let's head on downstream to Dutchman Falls.

Almost perfectly symmetrical. I wonder what the flow rate of this creek is. Looks like a pretty tough area to hike in Dennis. Will look at these again in summer, Sig....

Like the uncut strands of a wise old grandmother, this snowy white falls is an intriguing sight as it cuts through this beautiful forest scene.

That's just amazing. To think that creek has been flowing there long enough to carve out a gorge that size ... ... ... Thanks for the perspective, in more ways than one!

Love this lacy fall and its amazing pool! That's quite a precipitous drop to navigate, it must have been fun :)

That hiking trail looks like it is suited more for mountain goats than humans. This waterfall is impressive to think of what it has carved out. A great picture for us to see nature at work.

Such a wonderful, silky capture. It just amazes me to think about how many falls there are in that area.

This is a gem. It looks like a fairy land. No, the crop doesn't make it look small. The countryside makes it look small. I hope that made sense.
