Description

The sun coming out on a typical English railway scene of the Great Western Railway Era after a heavy storm. (Circa 1930's). "Faster than fairies, faster than witches, Bridges and houses, hedges and ditches. And charging along like troops in a battle, All through the meadows, the horses and cattle. All of the sights of the hill and the plain, Fly as thick as driving rain. And ever again, in the wink of an eye, Painted stations whistle by... And here is a mill and there is a river, Each a glimpse and gone for ever." by Robert Louis Stevenson Models from Cornucopia. I fashioned the head code lamps from photographs and set them according to the GWR appendix to the rule book 1936. These lamps mean: 'Freight, Mineral or Ballast train or train of empties carrying through load to destination'.

All my images have an embedded digital ID throughout, which cannot be removed, even from a cropped section, and is registered. This reached No1 in 'Best-Rated' images Chart. And Also No1 in the top-favourited Art Chart.

Awesome work! A 38-years railroader in the family is very impressed. You got the ballast just right, even. The rust on the rails tells us the track isn't used much. One little amusement for this 5-star PLUS work: no tender!
