Description

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments on my zoo shots. I appreciate them and YOU, always. Well, here's another shot taken Sunday at the Zoo. Way off in the distance, sirens were going off; making the Wolves howl like this. It was cool, that I was able to capture them in action. I'd like to dedicate this one to Boris. He's been a friend since day #1, always there to support me any way that he can. Thank you for everything, Boris. I hope to some day be of just as much help and support as you've been to me.

Well you have certainly helped(tuition on out of frame) and supported me, so you are already on that path. This is what I like about this site, there is always someone willing to help you out. Just like everywhere else there is also a couple that try and upset the cart, but all in all it is a great family atmosphere here on RR. Excellent capture of this beautiful animal, I thought at first it could have been taken out in the wild, I don't know, do you have wolves in Minnesota? (hope I've spelled that right). Even in the Zoo it's a cracker of a shot, great detail, and fantastic that it posed like this for you, I can just make out one of it's sharp teeth. I am hoping to get down to our local Zoo sometime soon, it's about 50/60 miles away. Superb! Bravo!!!!!

Wolves have a special place in native lore and a shot like this really gives you a clue as so why. There is a magic and grace to this creature. They seem to know so very much that we do not and seem to have no real desire to share it either. Lovely shot - in or out of a zoo it is quite beautiful.

The call of the wild is never far away from a wolfs heart no matter where the cries she hears comes from
