your eye, janiss, is like infrared, or some form of 'microscopy' that sees past visible-light. This photo helps me understand what's so powerful about this recent series. You unearth a kind of molecular glow, bringing out the life of each square & circle (& oval, etc.), and through your manipulations bring it all flush-forward, making vibrant surfaces that leap out even from distances. You are one of those artists who loves depths and adores the power in surfaces, and they both speak & play Shakespeare to each other in several of the photos I've seen of yours. Then you have composition which (as others have pointed out), leads the eye boldly to whatever places you want to lead it. Finally, your painterly approach reveals these high-sheen surfaces almost as ruins---which is to say time rushes through your work, blasting from the past and speaking to us right here, right now. Powerful.

On a l'esprit d'observation ou on ne l'a pas, pour ce qui te concerne tu as l'oeil ! j'ai une envie folle de mettre ma main sur la boule de l'avant plan tant elle donne une impression 3D bien physique. Chapeau je suis bien d'accord avec Michel, j'adore ce type de photo.
