Description

Blimey, this one was a tough learning curve and a lot of hard work. My only real objective was to create seas that were stormier than the ones in my 'Dangerous Passage' image from yesterday. Thanks must go to grafikeer for his tips on creating big waves, e-brink for help on sea spray, JedSwindells for his 'ketch' model and photostar for the use of his terrain. The lighthouse was modelled by myself. Postwork in Photoshop took care of the brightness, sea spray, lens flare, lightning and the driving rain. Any comments are most welcome. Enjoy ... Tony :-)

Scary sea indeed. Can't blame them sailors if they suffer from a bit of sea sickness. Slendid water and environmental work Tony. Muis

I can't decide what I want to comment on first. I think the sea is just so perfect. The storm, with the rain and the lighting, the rough sea waves, and the rocking of the ship, are all awesome, and look like they took some time to do. The lighthouse is amazing. The light coming from it. The shape and lines, just so many great details. Great render.

Fantastic render Tony. I love high sea pictures-renders. The violence and beauty of mother nature really shows here. Great composition.
