Bomaw's Father & Son Moment Please, dad...? "Come on dad, please? I promise, I promise, I promise I'll be careful. After this summer, I'll start saving up to get myself a truck, but - until then, can I use yours? I mean, why even have a drivers license if I can't drive anything? We've got insurance, not that I'll need it, 'cause I'm a careful driver. But if anything should happen, not that anything will, because - I'll be sooo careful, that - well - I don't need insurance, but if something were to happen, we got insurance, right? It's like, back up, for if something happens, but it won't. Okay dad? And you can like, call and check on me if you want to, not that I'm giving you permission to call and check on me, because you're my dad, if you want to, you can, but I'm just saying, I won't mind if you do. So, can I dad? What are you thinking? What are you looking at?" Jake sighed, thinking back to the days when he was a young male, into everything. And because he had a vehicle without his dad or mom around, he remembered all the mess that he'd gotten into. All the trouble they had to bail him out of, and right then and there, he remembered his dad yelling at him on one of those occasions. "I can't wait for the day, when you have a son and all of this mess you do, comes back at you! Lord God, hurry that day on please!" Jake groaned, because now, his day had come. "So dad, you gonna, uh, let me? Please, I promise, I'll be careful, I won't get into anything, you wouldn't get into. I agree with originalkitten: the image perfectly fits the story. I love that pose with the arms behind the head, and the point of view showing the ceiling lamp. By the way, I consider the kitchen (after washing the dishes!) a remarkable place for a conversation between father and son about a truck. :-)

Simply brilliant my friend, this captures that moment in time and the anxiety attached to it perfectly. Really superb render, I love the room details that bring it to life so well. The characters are posed wonderfully also and their body language really reflects their moods great.
