My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Can't say I'm fantastic but I love to fish!!!! Just took it up last year and I'm hooked!!!! You could pretty much catch me down on the beach casting my line most days after work!!!!! What a wonderful sport!!! Yummy too when the catch is good!! Great shot!!!!!!

Love to fish..especially off the back of a houseboat...with all the creature comforts (food & drink) right at hand..:)

Well, if there is water, I'm fishing. Typically in the summer, Hej and I load up with our bait, poles, chairs and snacks, and fish from about 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. (gotta get that Striper bite AND the Catfish frenzy) in our secret spot one or two evenings a week. Nothing better than a fresh fried fish dinner with steaming hushpuppies and corn. Although I generally bring home about 5 pounds of fish each trip, Hej always outfishes me with her usual 10 pound Cat or 7 pound Striper. :-) Nice feel in these shots. Good compo.

I used to be there every weekend, but due to mobility problems I gave all my gear(a couple of thousand pounds in all) to my son Andrew, I haven't fished for 20 years now. I used to be out there breaking the ice on New Years Day, year after year, it was a bit of a tradition with me and a friend of mine. Some nice tackle here Tara, I used to have tons of the ABU stuff. Andy still goes fishing but he is a speciman hunter now, he's going for a weeks fishing in France in a couple of weeks. Last time he was there, he had eighteen fish over thirty pounds, his biggest up in the forties. These have given me the longing to go and sit on the bank.lol. Not going to happen. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

My brother, I swear he has fish guts running through his veins instead of blood!! But we ALWAYS have great fish to eat!! I love this one, Tara!!!

Great double presentation of passing time in a fun way. Nothing beats fishing.

Great shots of the tackle, I don't do it myself. Just get peeved with one or two of the men at the river who leave their lines around and kill the swans, saw one this week with it all round his neck.

Fabulous duet Tara, such marvelous details and colors!

Really stellar POV, clarity, colors, and textures in this brace of photos, Tara! In re your question, the only fishing I get involved with is purchasing 2.5 lb package of fresh imitation crab at the market, or making a tuna salad. Especially since I saw the movie, JAWS.

I don't fish or hunt, these rigs look a little excessive for the fish we have around here. I like the image; wonderful clarity and detail, well done!!!
