Description
I've always had a thing for the glow of dense, urban areas at street level and took a shot at recreating the look along with some traditional effects using environmental mapping in Vue. This was the first time I've messed around with Vue's environmental mapping capabilities, but was really quite impressed with how well it could light a scene and most importantly, throw off those killer reflections :)

The density of signage is always a big selling point for making the scene convincing. Lights on the Vespa, especially the yellow handle light, very nice. Great to recognize one of the Lores males making it so close to the camera. ; ) Seems like the hover glows or the other bike lights don't show up on the pavement the way I might expect. Gives a feeling of disconnect in that area but we're all really focused higher up on the girl. Great scene, always exciting to see a new post.

Amazing realism as usual. However this one really stands out because of the many lights and reflections. I also like the contrast between the people rushing through the street and the girl taking a cigarette break - most excellently done! :)
