Description

This is Miki 1.0 watching the sunset over a beautiful archipelago. The background was made with Bryce 5.5 as a standalone image, but I thought it would make a nice background for this. I got Miki and her dress from the CD in 3D World Magazine recently, and I think Miki is a great model, but the dress has some incompatibility with DAZ Studio, so I had to zoom in enough to hide the problems. Also, I had to have some weak distant lights to simulate the ambient light that DAZ Studio does not factor into lighting. This seems to want to wipe out the shadow of her hand, though so I cranked up the intensity of the distant light representing the sun to try and compensate.
