dbigers posted some helpful hints about the settings of the Ambient Light and some transparency settings for the leaves to allow some light to come through them. Its made the image much more vibrant and given it a lot more depth. I'm now really happy with this render. :)

Much better. The leaves could probably be better if they used some mixture for the texture. In the color channel use two colors and mix them with fractal noise or turbulence of some kind. Right now they are a bit too uniform as well as a bit too bright. Also, the water is a little choppy considering that it is probably a small pond of some kind. You could also use some more grass scattered around. Dont take these crits the wrong way. I like the way the image is looking, but often small details are the difference between a good image and a great one. Keep posting, I love to look at other artists work. You are progressing with Carrara very nicely it seems. Donnie
