My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Perfect presentation here! I love the way this image actually works in such wonderful conjunction with the post you made in the Writer's section as well...almost as if the two posts are interacting with one another. I love little coincidences like that, and I'm sure the simple answer to an issue is lurking somewhere in this interaction. As for this image on its own, I love the serenity you've captured...the texture is beautifully shown as are the colors, and well...I'm always looking at colors and straining to see interactions there! Great work. Oh, and I also like the way this single Buddha head in this position looks like someone relaxing in a much needed mud-bath in some expensive spa.

I'm new here, so I'll stick in my thought humbly (if it's ok)...it's a buddha, and if the shop made it, they imitated the decay of a real ruin...the hair is in those characteristic curls, the ears are elongated from wearing earrings of "worldliness" (and being weighed down by them) (this is typical of most buddhas), the eyes are closed (inwardness) and very sensuous (filled with bliss); and the lips are like "the mango fruit," to say that when one speaks, it should be sweet and blissful. It oozes inwardness and beckons its viewers to peace. I wonder if it isn't a replica. Anyway, it's right for Easter, in a very far-reaching way. And I'm glad to make acquaintance with your gallery with this simple, eloquent picture. Buddha would like it because you caught him in a totally natural place, nature doing its thing and bothering no one...
