Description
This something I've had waiting around for a long time, from before the I got the HP that fried last winter. That makes this a render a couple years in the making!
It has been sitting in a near complete state for a couple months, waiting for me to get around to putting the finishing touches on it. Rather than go with the P5 version I already had, I used a couple recent purchases along with P6 to finally get it done the way I set out to do.
I'm not 100% happy with it though. The cables/jacks could use some work; I should have made the cables thicker and tried remaking the jacks. Plus, thicker cables might have made them easier to see. Oh well. I hope the distortion pedal is the right size (it's not mine, I had to use Hexagon to make it work with Poser).
I'm happy with her stance, but I'm not so sure about her hands. They look okay, but I just don't know. It's been quite some time since I really played, and I was never much of a guitarist; I play(ed) bass instead. I could mangle Smoke On The Water and Iron Man with the worst of them, but hadn't yet got to the point where I felt confident enough to murder Stairway To Heaven. Yet, there were a few Metallica songs I could actually play and I even managed to get through parts of Cowboys From Hell and Don't Fear (The Reaper). Considering the fact that I can't read sheet music to save my life (I must be the only 2nd grader to fail music class because of the recorder) and getting lost with a metronome or tapping my foot, I'm surprised I was able to learn to play anything. But learn, I did.
Okay, I'm rambling. The point is/was, I'm not sure about her left hand. I used a picture I found online as a reference to place the fingers, but I don't know how accurate it is. Regardless of accuracy, the fingers could be posed better. Fortunately, you can't see the problem from here; you'd have to get close enough to see her fingertips to see where it could use a bit of tweaking.
I wanted to spend more time on the guitar strap too, but I'd actually like to get something else done this month. It's a bitch to get posed and look right at the same time. I couldn't find the texture(s) I made for the Les Paul that I started with, nor the replacement strings that I was working on.
I'm sure I could nitpick and find more stuff I don't like about it. But I think I'll move on instead. It's another one taken off the 'to finish' list.

from my perspective her hand is exceptionally posed on the neck as well her stance.the incidentals looks realistic also

everything you've already mentioned, well, there's no one harsher on a pic than the artist who made it..;) I can't fault it; hey, you have a strap, and 1/4" cables, a bit thin, true, but you have them realistic, and in the right places. If you moved the chord hand towards the bottom, and even with the 2nd fret from the end, I'd call it a 'D' chord. Wish everyone put this much thought into their pics. Have hauled a lot of amps and guitars around in my time, and this is pretty dang close to spot-on. Besides, who can complain about a fellow bass player?...;)

I think overall you made a great pic with great attention to detail, don't beat yourself up over things that didn't turn out 100%, they're just lessons learned for next time. She looks like she's really into it, though I think to put it over the top her head could be bent down a little and her mouth could be contorted a little in concentration/asymmetrical. Like I said though, overall it's a great piece, something to be proud of.
