Renderosity has opened a whole new world to me, its a fantastic place and have had some brilliant support from many new friends.  I retired from work very early through ill health so I took to photography from the very basics.
Since joining I have grown in confidence with my photography and I now think because of RR that I take it a little more seriously. I started off here using a Fuji Finepix 6500fd, it took some great pictures but I'm hooked now so I have now(April 2008) bought a DSLR SAMSUNG DX10 and having fun learning the settings etc. ( these things take me a while lol)ÂÂ
I am so fortunate to be with a wonderful person in my life, Sylvia. She is not just my partner but of course she's also my best friend. Previously I have been married but seperated a few years ago and have two fantastic children. I NOW have two fantastic grandchildren !!!
My interests are photography, i have had a dabble at Acrylic painting, and I enjoy long walks out in the countryside.      I also have an interest in anything historical.  I want to have a sample of just about everything there is in photography, who knows what the future holds!
Thanks for calling by.    Alan

Beside being a really rib tickling shot, this is well done with the placement of the cows in relationship to each other (compo) and with your position to the animals' bodies (pov) not to mention the lower lighting deepens the colors of the entire shot (exposure) making this very eye appealing and the presentation excellent.

real cool shot. I had a bull run after me one time and I had to run; it was out of it field lol. I pasted a chain up big dog who was barking and I think it slowed the bull down. Anyway I got into my car and took off. Very good shot of thisand the post work is wonderful

Nice shot Alan. We used to go into fields sometimes where there were dozens of cattle and they all looked at us. Made me want to be a schoolteacher with students that were as attentive as these cattle. Yours are the same. Did you get the same feeling? Sig...
