a real burst, rozie. People should see it full size. The real meaning of "to flower". Lovely.

This a very heartwarming shot, Rozanne. I can almost remember that there is any season apart from 'Wet' ( Autumn and Winter ), when I look at this. After the spartan and sombre purple decoration in our church over Lent, except when the Archbishop came to visit, and we had a few nice vestments, the ladies who decorate the church and hall are quickly sorting out artificial flower garlands, in white, cream and gold. Palms from Palestine will line the aisle on Sunday. There will be some green ( and maybe some white and orange ) in the church hall tomorrow, as we sneak in some St Patrick's Day celebrations ( banished from March 17th, because it was in Holy Week, and too close to Easter ) , for some of our elderly parishoners. They'll have some Irish coffee ( even the ones of Italian, Polish and Lithianian descent ), ethnic music, and a good sing song. The weather continues to improve. It is not raining 24 hours a day. God must have found some plumbers in heaven at last... ;o) Once the snow melts off the Ochil Hills, and the daffodils start to surface, then I'll think about what happens in 'Spring', Rozanne. There was a wee bit of sun, creeping under a leaden sky this morning, but the temperature was down to below zero again, with the wind chill, and as soon as someone stopped me in the street for directions ( for the other side of the city, naturally ) the heavens opened. Probably more 'mixed' or 'unsettled' weather to come, this weekend too. Enjoy Spring and Summer, my friend.. We will soon, or else...! Warm regards, in front of my PC's fan, John.

A dancing delight of color and happiness. Exceptionally well seen. Great compo and pov with lighting that really highlights the best of these blooms.
