Oh this is my favorite bird that I miss very much. I grew up seeing the cardinal all the time in Kansas, we don't have them here in Washington St. He is so beautiful setting there on that perch. A wonderful shot.

So beautiful in its mood effect. This terrific shot resembles a painting! From the title I expected to see either a Roman Catholic official appointed by the Pope to his council, or a St Louis baseball player. But deep down I knew if would be another masterful capture of a beautiful bird.

wow! such a beautiful bird, I think it is a State Bird in more than a few states, and I'm proud to have lived in two. Got to be quick here, truely amazing!
