Description

This was taken last weekend at a local park where I shoot so many of my uploads. Quiet Winter Evening was shot from the same area, but looking across the upper pond from left to right. The Kite Eating Tree was taken at the other end of this park, maybe a quarter of a mile behind where I was standing to take this one. Anyway, you get the point :-). I wanted to get some good waterfowl shots, but they weren't really cooperating. There may be one or two that are good enough to share. We'll see. Thanks for coming along on the drive through the Ridgefield NWR. I'll keep going back there; eventually I hope to get some good Bald Eagle shots.

I always like to see more reflection than reality in a photograph like this. (Does that say something weird about me, I wonder?) The mini waterfall and gentle rapids make this look like a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the world. Thanks for such a tranquil shot for me to view on this lazy afternoon!
