So, all that remains is for us to find her.” Nymara looked first to Courynn, then Talice, Cosar and Rynard, on each of their faces was clear resolve, and her heart lifted at the thought… no matter to what depths of evil Faerun has fallen, so long as there remains those who stand to aid another for no other reason then it is right to do so, there is hope!” Nymara Moonshadow’s niece, Calastra has a rare natural affinity for the menhir circle, allowing her to activate their gates between Slideyuir and the Yuirwood. Though less then a century old and untrained in the use of her natural talents, her curiosity about the “world beyond” drew her to Faerun. The catalyst for Nymara’s venture to Faerun, and her participation in the Twilight Blades, Calastra’s disappearance was initially blamed on Thayan slavers, but has proven to be a deep mystery… linked to rumors of a mad, dark mage that haunts the depths of the Yuirwood. Few believe the rumors of the Ancient… a mad, unimaginable old, dark wizard said to haunt the deepest depths of the Yuirwood. Those who do believe, most often identify him as a star elf, well beyond venerable age who remained when the rest abandoned the woodlands for Slideyuir two thousand years ago… but none claim to know his motives. Although the Player Characters have yet to encounter them, Calastra and the Ancient are major factor in the Twilight Blades campaign as Nymara's search for her niece is one of the prime motivators for her participation.
