Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Should this have some bristles on it Marilyn? for a shoe/boot cleaner. Thats what comes to mind, a bright looking croc if ever I saw one. The old cast iron bed brings back some memories as well, I can tell you. It's a family site though, so I won't tell what I was doing to break one, just use your imagination. That little joint thats just showing snapped clean off.lol. This gardeen seems to be teeming with hidden treasure, I wonder what else you found. Excellent capture, and its on theme(just) with St Paddies Night. Bravo!!!!!

Oh I'll have to save this picture for Jasmine [one of my granddaughters] She loves crocodiles ... especially when I say the word wrong "dococriles" "Oh Gramps!" she scolds, "Don't be silly!" I was born silly, and remain true to my nature. Thanks for sharing! Mike

Gators have a soft spot with me. Rest rest of my graduating class from DHS will know why and share that spot. Cool capture. I love a garden full of hidden treasures and the unexpected...unless it is alive. :-)

Advance at your own risk! My, what big teeth you have, grandma... Fine POV employed and vivid colors -- especially the red -- in this capture of the persnickety alligator, sporting a padded jacket and hockey gloves.
