Description

I wanted to use the rocky terrains I had created in a different setting trying my skill at creating waterfalls cascading down the sides of them. The waterfall effects were all constructed using lattices which were scrunched together, twisted and some were layered upon each other. The lighting had to be redone in certain places as well. It is not an easy task to accomplish this type effect using Bryce as many now make their water effects using post work programs. I wanted to stick with Bryce, completely. Enjoy and thanks for viewing and commenting... Bryce Resized, sharpened and sig. with Paint.Net

Well you've certainly achieved what you set out to do Keith, I'm very impressed. I really like the terrain you've been using and the waterfall adds to an already wonderful image. Tony :-)

NIce composition. Excellent job with your new waterfall technique. I'd like to see more of that. The overall image and style is again, very painterly, but perhaps in an almost impressionist sense!

That's all Bryce? Hot Dog! That's some real skill there Photostar! I'm still having problems with waterfalls myself, at the very least to blur out too harsh of edges. I'd love to see a lattice of this image.

I still haven't waded into the Bryce world, but what you're doing here is just amazing - this reminds me of an old movie about a world where you never die and always stay young (and I cannot remember the title of it, I hope there you at least keep your memory!!--Lost Horizons??) Anyway, I digress, this is beautiful, your textures and waterfalls are wonderful, your experiment went well!!!

Great work Keith, your use of bryce for the waterfalls is commendable as so many do use postwork instead. The waterfalls are very convincing, and the ATMO and lighting works very well!
