My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Great shot!! Can't see anything wrong with it!

Perfection is highly overrated and you're right, there wouldn't be a single foto anywhere if we all waited for that one, perfect, sublime shot!! This is beautiful, and red, well it's red and my favorite color, so of course, I love it!!
timtripp
it, like the photo, is gorgeous!

A great shot of a special and beautiful flower! Have a very nice evening Henk

I think it looks great. The reds are very nicely saturated. At f/4 you're not going to get much DOF; what you have looks right to me. I like it. So there.

Well I am full of admiration for your photography ... the rose with contrasting reverse side petals is gorgeous. I can't comment technically - I'm woefully ignorant - but the result is lovely. Mike

Welll.. maybe you should have sprayed the white rose on both sides instead of only the upper side ?..... ;) Just kidding. So very lovely and Amazing colors too. :)))

Beautiful flower...

A stunning macro, Tara, considering the unending battle with the color red most of us have to endure. Terrific clarity and lighting on the petals. It looks all the world like a Rosie O'Donnell rose, some photos of which I have currently lingering in my vast database. Imagine anyone naming a beautiful flower after that creature? Blasphemy.
