Description

I wanted to do another spaceport image but it wasn't as easy as I thought; just the lift crane alone took me over 20 hours to do. This effort gave me new respect for all those amazing 3D artists that give us all those virtual worlds to enjoy in the movies, and make it look so easy. I don't know how they do it in the limited time they have and make them look so good. Rendered in Bryce with IBL, and a bit of postwork in Paint shop Pro 9.

Superb work! The craft is amazingly textured & detailed & those clouds are awesome. The whole scene with the great lighting is a very convincing sci-fi scene. Well done!

Great Scene! Modeling can take a lot of time, for sure, but the amount of detail you've put into it makes it worth the effort. Nice textures too.

Awesome Image considering done by a single person on a desktop... what we see in Movies is normally done by a Team of people.. One or more in charge of Lighting a scene One or More just in charge of making props, like an everyday item such as a Pop Can. One or More for Textures and So on!!
