Description
Just wanted to do one more spaceport image in a drizzly, moist night setting.
Bryce, Paint shop Pro 9, and some old low-rez poser figures.

I like the whole Spaceport-pictures but I think this is the best of your series, at the moment. Wonderful lighting and haze. Btw. It's funny, right now I'm building a similar shaped spacecraft but mine is a lot smaller than your cruiser.

Is that smell of the smoke from a loooong render time? Excellent lighting and atmosphere.

First things first. I love this image! Great lighting, scene composition, attention to detail, scale, fog, just all of it! It inspires me so much. Now, if you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism... The main ship is a wonderful shape, and the side lights are marvelous. Just the right amount of texturing on it alludes to its massive size. There are just two parts of it I don't like. One is the puppy dog nose. IMO, perhaps a different treatment is needed there--maybe a opening like the cowl in a jet engine, or maybe just a different boolean used for the nose-- at an angle for instance. The other 'issue' for me is the cockpit area. It doesn't make sense to me to have a super smooth shark shape, and then add a squashed sphere control cockpit area. I'd rather see some very small window integrated into the shape itself. But, those are small details in an overall GREAT render. And Bryce to boot! Superb...5++++

Yes, the ship is of my own make and design. And regarding chipp's comment, I had the same thoughts and as soon as I find the time I want to redesign the cockpit area so it integrates more smoothly with the hull.
