Description

Another man I like to call friend, at the Friday group, this is Kevin. He is concentrating on the sketch that he is doing, I do very little at the group, apart from sitting watching the artists at work, and taking sneaky pictures. We call them candid, but really most are a grade 5 sneak. I am usually looking the other way when I press the shutter, if I put it on timer a light blinks and they can tell. I haven't tried it with video and then grabbing some stills, I might try that next time. I like the way the lighting highlights his silver hair, especially the stray one sticking up. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to make. May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are. 23:00 hrs here in the UK and its snowing outside, only light at the momment but I am on low ground, the Pennines are a couple of miles away. Sleep tight people and stay warm.

Kevin is a character he draws buildings with fine precision very straight lines, he draws in every brick, every line is so straight freehand. I can't help but notice myself there in the background painting a leopard from a photo. I've finished the painting and will upload a photo of it, in the 2D section Saturday morning. Great portrait of Kevin and I noticed that one hair sticking up lol.

This is so well done, Jeff! What a great portrait. You seem to have captured him in a moment of contentment and involvement in what he's doing. And I love the "bonus portrait" of Alan! :) Perhaps you can sneakily point your camera at our painter friend and get a nice closeup for us. Kudos on the excellent sneaking around, btw!

Nicely captured Jeff. I like to take 'sneaky' pictures also. It usually shows the real person!
