My baby...luv my Jeep 4x4. Do I take it rock-crawling and off-roading? Hell no... No way, no how...... Â
I have been working with 3D digital programs for about 6 years time. My first experiences with the world of 3D digital art were Terragen and a terrain generator program called World Machine. After learning Terragen, I moved on to Bryce where my major interest in creating landscapes, SciFi and interior space renderings now lies.
Other programs which I experiment with and use are Vue7, Apophysis and Incendia. Postwork tools I usually use for enhancing the original renders are PSP Pro X, PhotoScape 3.3, Paint.Net, MGI PhotoSuite and FastStone Image Maker. Occassionally I also enjoy taking photos with my Nikon S52 Digital camera. Here at Renderosity you will find works of mine using all of these mediums.
As an artisan, I have always had a deep love and respect for architecture, especially modern and future design development. You will see that reflected in some of the 3D renderings here in my gallery.
Originally, I'm a Northeastern United States native (anthracite coal region)....half Welsh, half Bavarian in ancestry.... and live some 1,400 feet (about 475 metres) above sea level in the Appalachian mountain chain along with my Shih-Tzu, Max and my cat, London. However, I prefer the lure of the beach and ocean and especially love the Chesapeake Bay region of the East Coast. Â
Take a few minutes to look thru my gallery and leave a comment or two if you like. Everyone here at Renderosity is unique in their work and individual abilities.  Personally speaking, I have been blessed with the friends I have made from around the world and for being a part of this community for the past 5 years. Splendid terrain, Keith. Full of light and shadows which you've done wonderfully. I can just imagine a tiny person or animal in there, depicting the scale of that majestic rocky terrain. Most excellent render in all ways.
CATMANDO
Great terrain, lighting and strata.
e-brink
Nice texture and a great landscape structure too. I like the way you are making people get involved in the scenery by denying them the sky... great idea. Your landscapes are certainly up to scrutiny these days... this is easily one of your best ever!

I agree with e-brink and Riddick6,one of the best terrain works I've seen you do yet!The texture is definitely true to life, and you've portrayed the bushes growing in and on the cliff face as they would be in nature. The lighting works well to accent the textures...overall a 5++!

I'm in agreement with people in that it's not often you see terrain work with no sky so well done. This one gives a great sense of scale and I like the way those trees are perched on the edge, they'll be crumbling into the waters below in a few more years. Staring at this one is giving me vertigo as I am imagining myself clinging for dear life onto those trees. A definate fav. Tony :-)

This looks like a cool place to go hiking....thumbs up....

Its the geological 'time line' that grabs me here- all those thousands of years of flood erosion- one single strata is probably a millenium. (I'm forgetting I'm looking at a Bryce render!) Great work, Keith!
