My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

A lovely floral moment for Easter. +5 from doarte's MADHOUSE

Superlative POV, clarity, colors, contrast, lighting effects and textures in this fine macro, dear lady! The pistil resembles some kind of berry. If you pinch the pistil the flower will emit a sharp bark....and was it from a plant like this where the name "Dagwood Bumstead" originated?

Excellent macro Tara, indeed it is interesting, especially as I have never seen one before. It's only since I have been here on RR that I have taken any notice of plants and flowers. Before they were just things the wife liked.lol. Superb work. Bravo!!!!! 3 inches of snow here overnight.
