Description
this morning we said goodbye to Dusty, the sweetest kitty I've ever known.
she slipped away between 3:30 and 4:00 AM, at home, where she was comfortable.
I will hurt for a very long time.
Easter vacation 1991 - Easter vacation 2008.

sorry to hear about Dusty...our dear Steffie the Cocker Spaniel died in January...she was almost 12 and just like one of the children...will never get over it....still think she is around... big hug for you..

Barb my friend I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Dusty, it makes it especially hard considering it is during a holiday. To me the pets are like a part of my family and the loss is so bad so I feel for you and will keep you in my prayers.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss Barb. It is hard to loose a friend like this, but when I read it right, she was 17 years old, which is a very proud age for a cat and if cat's feel like human, she will be happy to have no pain and aches anymore, where she is now, she will feel young again. Oh I hate when this happens. So sorry to hear of your loss. I've been there and I know how hard it is. But the most important thing is Dusty had a good life, was loved and gave love and was comfortable and not in pain when she crossed the Rainbow bridge. She will always be with you in your heart of memories.

My hope is that heaven is a place where we dont out live our hairy faced friends! Rescue-is the best medicine for a broken heart. Hang in there. The love you shared after all is the greatest gift and im sure you have more, so go get/give some more! Beautiful picture-and pose.

Barb,i'm the one to apologize,just saw your sweet Dusty....i know we share the same sadness but if we think that Dusty and Tiffany are now happy and playing together in a beautiful place i'm sure we will have a smile on our faces,memories will stay with us forever and our precious little friends will never leave us,this i know for sure :-)
