Description

This reminds me of H.G. Wells' "The War of the Worlds", although there's not an actual tripod in sight. Done in Apophysis 2.06c 3D Hack. No Postwork.

Yeaahhh! Love nicely done fractal work! Very Wells-ian indeed. Great restraint on color and detail, letting the beauty of the fractal speak for itself. Just Right!
