Description

This conservation area is near the busiest road in the historical English harbour town of Emsworth, Hampshire. You would never guess it, though, as the noise of the traffic is not loud, and the footpaths have some stunning and tranquil views. The meadow, barely visible through the trees on the right in this photo, is between two streams, which have healthy populations of both water voles and water rats.

It looks like a very quiet place, you'd never guess there is a busy road near by... very nice capture :)

Great to hear about the water voles! They have reappeared in Bournemouth Upper gardens, too!
