Description
Commander Pirx
I got this idea for a worn and tired space traveler after reading "the tales for Pirx the pilot" by classic sci-fi writer Stanislaw Lem. The shape of the helmet is inspired by "Commander Oddball" from "Revenge of the Sith". The face is based on my own face and I used Modos sculpting tools for the first time to tweak the mesh (for example pushing in the cheeks and pulling down the eye lids). I've textured the face using my own "skin". Don't worry, I'm not that pale and I don't have those dark areas under my eyes.
Modeled and rendered in MODO.

Nice head shot of the helmet. I think he's looking like he's stuffed white. Anyhow, cool helmet work!
