Description

Captured 3/6/08, very early in the morning, within walking distance of my domicile. Somewhat eerie....spooky, in fact. My favorite RR tracks, where I have previously snapped some provocative shadow effects. Whenever and whereever there is fog locally, a terrific ambiance for photos, I AM THERE! Much better viewed full size. Thanks for coming by, and have a frankly frenetic far-fetched Friday.

The magic of mist adds the unknown just beyond the visible... Great mood and use of the converging lines.

Wonderful effect and mood you have achieved here, Harry! It almost looks like selective coloring! Very cool!

Nice shot! I am often at the tracks taking shots, as they are only right next door... Do you suppose my tracks lead to yours? I lost a few (and other more important photos) I liked when my SD card went belly-up. I like the fog here... Great shot and mood.

Putting an ear to the tracks you cn hear the train coming far off. But do you dare when the visibility to so close in?

Full view is like being there! I can't decide if I like this view better, or your second shadow/tracks photo. They each have their own merits, of course! I think I might prefer the fog, since it's such a familiar sight (!) but I liked seeing your shadow! sigh Can I just like 'em both? Excellent capture, my friend. I love the moodiness.
