Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Now it would have been real fun if you got between this lot in your cozzy, I know you'd be freezing for a tad but it would make a super family albumn shot. ROFLMAO. The beach girl and the boarders, sounds like a good book title. I can feel a bit of prose coming on. Excellent capture Marilyn, I love the backdrop as well. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Wow, those are some awesome 'big' boards, there. Great capture, Marilyn. Hey, you could have some real, safe fun getting on one of those saucers and sliding down the snow hills. That's a blast, really.

Fine shot of the begoggled daredevil quartet, all prepared to venture onto the hills and into the valleys of the snowbound terrain in search of fun and adventure. Actually, if they didn't have the skiing equipment with them, they could easily pass for World War I pilots, all set to jump into their Spads to battle the foe above.
