Description

Taken in 2006 on Pentax Optio 555. Another shot from my old camera and Barcelona. Laura and I had almost finished our lunch sitting on a bench in the sun when a lady walked by with a plastic carrier bag full of bird seed, which she then proceeded to empty onto the floor, prompting pigeons from all corners of the park to come flooding on over. It was pretty funny at the time because she was wearing a skirt but seemed unaware that the wind generated by the flapping wings of the legions of birds surrounding her was sending said skirt up over the back of her head.... I remember a guy standing behind with a video camera and a pricless expression to those around him that he couldn't quite believe what he just saw...! Anyway, we saved the last bits of our sandwiches and had a little go ourselves. They were the kind of bold birds you only really find in large urban centres where they're used to people and more often than not might be able to get some food out of them!
