Description

The little boy is from the cover of a 1917 Saturday Evening Post, artist unknown...I would like to add that I found the image extremely appalling and used it here with the three women to portray thier wish for Peace and that thier children have no more war! This is a simple commentary on the world today. The image is not for sale and no copyright infringement intended.

Comments are from our other site... 14-Nov-06 Nikolay Semyonov a very impressive design and message 27-Oct-06 thea walstra Creative and awesome work 17-Oct-06 Emily Reed This is really wonderful! Super! 14-Oct-06 Jerry Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace! Our Father represents love, grace, mercy, forgiveness plus protects and blesses us! Peace, rest and a joy of life certainly seems like paradise or heavenly! Man has a quest for power, might, wealth, ego and good old greed within his nature. Therefore, grieved mothers and little boys have to except their fate while putting on the armor plates of war. So, what is, is. People have to realize that realty is preparation and provision! Remember, power preserves the peace, creates an user friendly work environment ideal for art and loving people. Great picture and story! May we have peace, love and joy in our lives! 08-Oct-06 Olga van Dijk I agree: Peace...no War! 04-Oct-06 Blue Doll great work

This is an exceptionally powerful statement. The three women, to me, represent the Maiden, Mother, and Crone aspects of Goddess. Excellent work.

'Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.' (Matthew, Chapter 5) Great work!

Beautiful work, Lynn and Alex. Excellent depiction of mothers, sons and daughters who are and have been, affected by the horrible impact of war. Peace is the only answer, but will it ever come?
