Welcome to the One World Peace Project! Most of you know me as ShadowsNTime and my partner Alex. We are the founders and sole owners of this project. This project was started as a simple message to give voice in art for world peace. Most of the art is art submitted anonymously by artists around the world who wish to voice thier feelings for peace without fear of reprisal. All artists are known by me and have consented in writing to place thier works here. Tho I do not have all the images up, we are currently represented by Holland,Germany,Russia and of course the USA. Should you wish to add an image to our cause please write to me. At some point (soon I hope) I will reopen my website and we are thinking of a book and calendar for peace. An example to leave to our children's, children's children! Thanks for reading and viewing. Peace to one and all!

Comments from our other site.. 25-Aug-07 annette steens great work! One world is the dream!! Peace IS!! Thanks for your courage! 28-Oct-06 Emily Reed Great commentary for peace! 28-Oct-06 Olga van Dijk GREAT message... Geweldig... ga zo door!!--Enjoy your one extra hour of (beauty) sleep tonight! Artist Reply: As a member of 'One World' i have to concur with your conclusions. We here in Virginia have the first black governor ever elected in America...and in a still to this day fairly racist southern state (Richmond was capital of the Confederacy)-what's up with that? By 2020 Hispanics will be the largest ethnic block in America.....other that Wal Mart, do you see anyone getting ready for that either? Euro-America is going to be as difficult to wean from their ethno-centric voting habits as their English/metric disagreements and America's economies from its weapons of war industries-they have manufacturing centers in every state in the union to 'bring home the bacon'....November seventh let's speak our minds. 14-Oct-06 Jerry War was around before America came along! It looks like a kill or be killed world! War certainly bites. Be glad your country is winning, because those losing are seriously suffering or undeveloped. This little guy symbolizes strength, honor and dignity of a man, husband family, culture, heritage tradition or people of our Nation. Remember 9/11, Pearl Harbor or the Alamo! Beautiful loving pictures providing wisdom are a solution, option, direction or life style that edifies and betters all. Great picture! 10-Oct-06 Jean M. Laffitau EXCELLENT and POWERFUL!!!! 04-Oct-06 Blue Doll great work...!!! 03-Oct-06 thea walstra Excellent work 03-Oct-06 Birds Of A Feather Brilliant work, it touches the heart of this mother deeply. Thank you!

Work and pray for Peace, but prepare for war....you will never be surprised either way. As much as peace is preferable, I wouldn't count on it. You always run into some one or some group who want what you have and prefer to take it than to work for it. As long as there are those who will rise by trampling others, peace may be a dream. "For Evil to prevail, good men need only do nothing!" Probably not an exact quote, but close. Very nice image anyway.

Unfortunately, 'To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.' (Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3) Nice image

@ Big Den Every statement you've made is ABSOLUTELY correct. The problem is that the last three statements exactly describe the Bush regime and the Neo-Con mindset. (That would be...US.) Iraq never asked for this fight. Bush and Cheney did. Iraq never elected Saddam Hussein. We "plugged him in" and gave him all the nerve gas he EVER had. I'm not "anti-defense". I just think this nation ought to look up "defense" in the dictionary (any version), and then ACTUALLY DO that word. "Defense" is a LOT cheaper than what we do. Then they ought to look up "imperialism", "fascist", and "profiteer". And stop doing those words. I'm "pro-dictionary". How 'bout you?
