Hi, I'm Marilyn.  I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile.  It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here.  I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends.  Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time.  Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!!  Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet.  You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long.  Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Great shot and brilliant title! he looks as if that is exactly what he's saying!

This is fabulous! Getting the full face and all that detail! Notice the placement of the eyes? More to the front of the face then on the sides like other types of birds. When they fly looking for food, they can see below them better this way. Great shot.

I say it again you are one lucky person, to be privileged like this, I tell you, I'd be on the floor a quivering wreck from adrenelin overdose. lol. Superb capture Marilyin, he is starting to look a trifle piqued though, just about time to do some back peddling I think. It has got me thinking, is it a young bird, has it got lost, did you see any rings on its legs, has it just fed or is it starving? I don't expect answers but just so you see my thought proccess. All sorts of things running through my head(there's plenty of space for them to run), fantastic photo op you don't get many like this in a lifetime. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

Can't you read! The sign says no trespassing! You're violating my territorial imperative! No mistaking the darts being stared your way by the magnificent raptor, Marilyn! Love the POV and textured plumage in this shot!
