Where better place to start a tour than the entrance?
The entrance hall to this dome is large and spacious and, therefore, used a storage area as well.
Access to the dome itself is through the green strong door. Such a strong door is not strictly necessary - but no self respecting scientific establishment could be taken seriously without one. :-)
