Description
Next stop on the tour of the research dome is the basement where the main power reactor is situated.
I have based this on the old HERALD Reactor which was located in building R61 of the old AWRE Aldermaston. Now, long de-commissioned and demolished.
The purpose of the reactor is primarily a facility for materials irradiation and neutron beam research but, using a little artistic licence, mine also provides most of the power for the research dome.
The Reactor is a pool Reactor fueled with highly enriched Uranium cooled by light elements.
I chose this particular reactor because it is open-topped and affords a glimpse of the reacting Uranium at the bottom of the pool - much more exciting as a bryce render than a pressurised water reactors enclosed case. :-)

You have the fluid perfect. I would like to see a little more darker shadow, but otherwise wouldn't change anything else. Each time I run my eyes over it, I see something else. :-)
