Feet are always so incredibly expressive, though dancer's feet always look somewhat painful! That pain element notwithstanding, this is excellent and moody...and I think that this one image says as much as a portrait focused on the eyes...I think its in the way the skin folds, the way the light catches those folds and ridges, the way darkness envelops everything BUT the skin. This is very humanistic, and in a sense, very pagan in the best possible ways...it revels in what is, dances in that space between light and darkness, showing that often, the two don't fight so much as...well...dance. Again, great work.
