Description
The next stop on this tour of the Research Dome is the Plasma Research lab.
Plasma has been around for many years - it occurs in nature in the form of lightning and auroras - and has found it's way into all sorts of applications such as neon lights, decorative plasma balls and plates, TV's, industrial waste disposal, welding and many more.
I thought it would be fun to have an area of the dome devoted to research on this substance which is known as the fourth state of matter. (The others being solids, liquids and gases)
Again, Google can provide much reading material on the subject of plasma if you wish to know more. :-)

I can almost see a light moving to and fro along the tube. The shadows on the wall are excellent.
