Description
Second shot from the Windsor Mansion ruins in Central Southwest Mississippi. My previous Windsor post, "Flower in the Ruins" tells more of the tragic, although colorful Windsor Mansion story.

Beautiful capture and sort of eery in a way, that this is all that remains. I can almost picture the wonderful building that once occupied that space. Superb shot and series, Marshall.

To Dan: Yes, the movie "Ghosts of Mississippi" did have a scene shot here, as has a couple of other movies too. Also Windsor was a favorite place of Mark Twain. Must have been amazing because almost 120 years after burning it still is!

The grandeur of this place must have been almost overwhelming in its heyday; it still is! Thanks for the great shot and the history of this place.
