Description

These are two vessels from an era one to two centuries after the GEVL Leviathan and GEVS LeGuin. During the interval between the two sets of starships, the Interstellar Exploration Corps has grown and been renamed the Galactic Exploration Corps. GEVL Empyrean and GEVS Catalyst are smaller and hopefully more graceful in appearance than their predecessors. The designs for both ships were created by fellow speculative spaceship artist and long-time friend Jeff Robb. The 3D CGI model of the Catalyst was kindly provided by Renderosity artist Sean Kennedy. I created a custom outer hull texture for both vessels. Other textures were provided by Renderosity artist Jean-Luc Ajrarn and gaming artist Strange Fate.
